My name is Keoni Subiono and I’m the General Manager at CrossFit 2222. That’s my wife Rose with me in the pic below. We’re going to get you into the absolute BEST shape of your life! Rose and I were born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. We went away to college in Southern California for seven years and that’s where we got started in the fitness industry.
In 2004 we moved back home to the island of O’ahu to raise our family. In 2007 we discovered CrossFit and it ROCKED OUR WORLD! We fell in love with both the community and the methodology.
In 2011 we opened our first affiliate, CrossFit East O’ahu. In 2014 we opened our second affiliate, CrossFit West O’ahu. By the time 2018 rolled around we were ready for change. So we sold the gyms, packed up and moved to San Antonio, Texas.
In early 2019 we met Dave and Robin Tillman, owners of CrossFit Cedar Park and CrossFit 2222. Our oldest son, Elijah, is a CrossFit Games level athlete, he started training with Coach Dave in his MAD Athlete program.
Fate would have it that CrossFit 2222 needed new leadership, so we jumped on the opportunity and moved to Austin, Texas in August of 2019. Our plan is to build a rock solid community and network of like minded professionals (and their families) who love hard work, tough challenges and jaw-dropping RESULTS! EXPERIENCE MATTERS. Coach Dave and I are old school! We both have over 20 years of experience as full time Fitness Professionals. Dave started at Q the Sports Club in Austin in 1995. I started at Bally Total Fitness in Los Angeles in 2000.
We’re not a MEATHEAD gym. Form, technique, safety and precision is ALWAYS the priority over lifting and slamming around heavy weights. I can’t stand excessive chalking either.
We coach classic CrossFit. We focus on creating well rounded athletes by emphasizing the 10 Domains of Fitness: Power, Strength, Speed, Endurance, Stamina, Accuracy, Agility, Balance, Coordination and Flexibility.
